The FAIR project aims to enhance antibiotic treatment for pneumonia by using an immunomodulatory agent delivered via nebulization. This approach seeks to combat antibiotic resistance and improve patient outcomes by strengthening the immune response alongside traditional therapies.
Bacterial pneumonia is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide.
