Maghreb Private Equity Fund II ("MPEF II") is the follow-on fund of MPEF I in which EIB invested in 2000. The private equity fund, managed by Tuninvest-Africinvest Group, made equity and equity-related investments in companies located primarily in North Africa, including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.

EuroMena I L.P. is a USD 63 million private equity fund incorporated in 2006 with headquarters in Lebanon. Capital Trust Group is the General Partner of the Fund. The investment period ended in 2011. The investments include companies in diverse sectors as for example financial services and the agro-food sector. All companies in which Euromena I invested are located in the Mediterranean region.

EuroMena II L.P. is the follow-on fund of Euromena I in which EIB invested in 2006. The fund is a generalist private equity fund based in Beirut, Lebanon, investing throughout the Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPCs). Capital Trust Group is the General Partner of the Fund, which took primarily minority positions in SMEs and mid cap companies. The end of the investment period took place in November 2013.

EuroMena III L.P. is a 9-year closed-end generalist private equity fund.. Capital Trust Group is the General Partner of the Fund. The Fund will take primarily minority positions in SMEs and mid cap companies in the MENA region. The Fund expects to make approximately 8-10 investment in the Region, with estimated ticket sizes ranging from USD 10 million to USD 20 million each. The fund achieved final closing closing on May 2016 with USD 147.9m commitments.
MPEF IV is a 10-year fund managed by AfricInvest. The fund had its first close in February 2018, with capital commitments of EUR 152m from prestigious finance institutions. The fund is aiming to reach over EUR 200m by year-end.

SVL-SME Fund (Neev II Fund), the successor fund of Neev I, announced its Initial Closing in June 2021 and seeks to provide growth and capital expansion to SMEs offering solutions for clean energy, electric vehicles, efficient use of raw materials, and water and circular economy projects in the country. The SME space is one of the largest employment generators in India, and has the ability to generate a multiplier effect in terms of increased standards of living, better livelihoods and access to clean energy to large sections of society is tremendously high.

The Fund is managed by Capital Invest Group, a public company limited by shares ('societe anonyme'), registered under the laws of Luxembourg.

Abraaj North Africa II, L.P. is a multi-sector private equity fund, sponsored by the Abraaj Group, which will provide growth capital to generalist small and medium sized companies based in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt. The Fund is the successor fund of SGAM Kantara (Fund I) a EUR 115m fund managed by the Abraaj Group, to which the Bank committed EUR 10m in 2006. The fund achieved final closing on 30 July 2015 with USD 375 million commitments.
GEF South Asia Growth Fund III is a USD 300m (target) investment fund targeting companies that promote climate action and environmental sustainability in South and South-East Asia. The Fund will provide equity to SMEs, improving access to finance and will support the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs), aiming to mitigate the effects of climate change. The key climate themes underwritten by the Fund are Climate mitigation, adaption and circular economy, which will include sectors such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, water, food and agriculture, built environment and waste.

The fund is managed by the CDG Capital Private Equity, a leader in capital investment in Morocco. The fund reached the first closing in June 2014.

The Foraois Limited Partnership is a EUR 112m forestry fund established in 2016 and managed by Dasos Capital Oy Ltd. The fund seeks to consolidate and improve forest management of small-scale forest assets across Ireland. The investment will support crucial upgrades of Ireland's forestry infrastructure and strengthen the supply of wood for commercial use.

Ezdehar is an independent PE fund manager focused on mid-cap businesses in Egypt. Ezdehar Mid-Cap Fund II (EMF II) successfully conducted a first close of USD 168 million in December 2021. The fund officially commenced operations early 2022 and conducted a third and final close of US$176 million in July 2022, exceeding its initial target of USD 150 million. With Fund II, Ezdehar was able to expand its investor base - which includes a uniquely large set of reputable global, regional, and local institutions - clearly establishing it as the preferred partner for deploying development capital to build homegrown champions in Egypt.
Launched in 2023, MEVF IV is MEVP's fourth regional fund targeting a size of USD 150m and anchored by the European Investment Bank. MEVF IV's fund size makes it one of the few independent regional venture capital funds capable of committing large investment tickets addressing the growth needs of early-stage tech companies in MENA. The new fund's deployment will focus on investing in innovative early-stage and growth-stage tech companies and enabling them to emerge as market leaders in Levant, North Africa and GCC.

Massinissa is a private equity fund investing in small and medium companies in Morocco. The fund's management company is Almamed, a subsidiary of Alma Capital based in Casablanca. The assets under management in the Massinissa fund are around 48 million euros. The final closing took place in 2010.
Ezdehar Egypt Mid-Cap Fund is a US$ 85 million private equity fund that focuses on investments in mid-sized companies in Egypt that are looking to partner with a value-add investor that would actively support operational development to grow their businesses at above average growth rates. The Fund's focus on Egypt stems from its current macroeconomic improvements, highly attractive demographic profile, and private equity market gap. The Ezdehar team has diverse experiences combining knowledge of operations and investments, and local and international firms. Ezdehar has closed its first transaction in March 2017 in the building materials sector, and currently has an active multi-sector pipeline of transactions.

In terms of geographic coverage, the fund covers the MENA region including Turkey. Final closing was achieved in September 2012; the fund is currently in divestment period.

Middle East Venture Capital Fund is a venture capital fund that will primarily invest in early stage private, export-oriented businesses that are located in the Palestinian Territories and are active in business services, software and communication. The Fund is managed by Sadara Ventures, the first venture capital firm targeting the Palestinian IT sector. The assets under management in the fund are around US$30 million. The final closing took place in 2012.
The Moroccan Infrastructure Fund ("MIF") was established in December 2006, focusing on infrastructure investments, either in new projects or in the improvement/extension of existing projects or companies. The fund was fully invested by end of 2009, with two investments. The fund is managed by Moroccan Infrastructure Management, a joint venture between US-based Emerging Capital Partners and Morocco-based Attijari Invest. Attijari Invest is the private equity arm of Attijariwafa Bank, Morocco's largest bank.

Phenicia Seed Fund is the first Tunisian early stage fund dedicated to Innovation/Tech companies. The fund size is TND 10m and the first closing took place in September 2007. The fund is incorporated as "fonds d'amorçage" under Tunisian law. The fund's objective is to invest in newly created Tunisian innovative companies or in companies younger than 5 years, with a strong growth potential. The investment period elapsed in September 2012.
