Rule

Eurostars consortia are built through the Eureka network and your country's national project coordinator. CORDIS does not list Eurostars projects as a first-class Horizon programme family. Start official partner search there; use GRANTIBASEas a complementary filter for organisations that already deliver EU R&I projects.

Example

An R&D SME in medical devices needs a university partner in another Eureka country. Contact the national Eurostars office, use Eureka partner-search channels, then open Partner Finder filtered by healthcare keywords and country to spot entities with prior EU grant participation in the same niche — and confirm they meet Eurostars SME / R&D intensity rules.

Common mistakes

Treating Eurostars like a standard Horizon Europe collaborative call (wrong eligibility path), skipping the national funding agency rules, or building a consortium only from LinkedIn without checking R&D-performing SME criteria.
