This project investigates how memories are formed in the brain using juvenile zebrafish as a model. By examining neural activity across multiple brain regions, it aims to uncover the fundamental mechanisms of memory formation and their evolutionary conservation in vertebrates.
How animals respond to their environment largely depends on their past experiences.
