This research project aims to analyze the role of women in the promotion of republican and democratic ideas between 1900 and 1914 through their journalism in Portugal, Mexico, and Spain. It seeks to understand the circulation of ideas and the impact of female voices in these political debates.
The general objective of this research project is to recover and analyze, both quantitatively and qualitatively, the female contribution to the debates and transmission of republican and democratic principles, values, and projects between 1900 and 1914 through their journalistic activity, adopting a plurinational geographical approach that includes three Atlantic countries:
