This project aims to optimize the integration of floating offshore wind turbines and wave energy converters to enhance energy efficiency and stability. Using artificial intelligence, it will develop models to predict dynamic responses and improve the design of these integrated energy systems.
Integration with wave energy convertors (WECs) has been a promising solution to lowering the levelized cost of energy of floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs) by sharing the platform and mooring systems.
