This project investigates how scientists and journalists collaborate to shape science news narratives. It focuses on the techniques used to make complex scientific topics accessible to the public, emphasizing the importance of storytelling in science communication.
The communication of scientific results in the mainstream media takes place in a highly contested terrain, reflecting conflicting professional norms, cultural values and levels of scientific understanding between scientists and journalists.
