The project aims to enhance research and innovation in Western Balkan countries by applying Responsible Research and Innovation principles. It focuses on fostering collaboration among various stakeholders to improve governance frameworks and promote sustainable socio-economic development in the region.
Although Western Balkan countries (WBCs) have improved in terms of R&I performance, research and innovation efforts should be further enhanced for bridging the remaining ‘gap’ with the rest European regions.
