The project focuses on developing innovative wave energy generators, eForcis and BeForcis, to harness renewable energy from sea waves. By reducing operational costs and enhancing efficiency, these devices aim to support sustainable maritime economic activities and lower carbon emissions.
In the last decade, over 700€ million have been invested by private companies in the development of marine energy.
Some EU-Member countries such as the UK, France, Ireland, Spain, Denmark and Portugal are heavily investing in this sector.
