WAUDIT focuses on enhancing wind resource assessment by training researchers in advanced measurement and modeling techniques. It aims to standardize practices in the wind energy sector and foster collaboration between academia and industry to support the growth of this renewable energy source.
The objective of WAUDIT is the generation of a pool of researchers, in the field of wind resource assessment, in order to support the technological development of wind energy as one of the fastest growing industries worldwide (annual increase rate of 20%).
