The WASHTech project focuses on improving the adoption of new water and sanitation technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa. It aims to develop a framework for assessing the sustainability and potential of these technologies to enhance investment and achieve development goals in the sector.
The water and sanitation sector is not short of new and emerging technologies, but hardly any have been adopted into national strategies in Sub-Saharan Africa, nor have they been widely taken up by private enterprise.
