WARFUN explores the role of fun in the experiences of soldiers and veterans during war. It aims to reshape understanding of war by examining how fun influences social dynamics, agency, and the normalization of conflict, using diverse research methods including ethnography and visual analysis.
The overall goal of WARFUN is to offer a new understanding of war and soldiering through a study of the role and implications of fun for soldiers and veterans.
