VR-HYPERSPACE explores innovative approaches to enhance passenger comfort in future transportation by utilizing virtual and mixed reality technologies. The project aims to create immersive experiences that alter perceptions of space, allowing passengers to feel more comfortable and engaged during travel.
VR-HYPERSPACE addresses the concerns expressed in ACARE’s Vision 2020 publication of changing demographics and increased urbanization resulting in society in 2050 and beyond needing more long-range transport for business and social-related mobility.
What is required is a radical approach to conventional thinking with regards to the internal and external dimensions of the cabin, and revolutionary methods to support passenger comfort and experience.
