VascmiR investigates the role of microRNAs in vascular diseases, focusing on their impact on blood vessel remodeling. The project combines basic research and animal studies to explore microRNA mechanisms and develop targeted therapies for cardiovascular health.
The central hypothesis of VascmiR is that microRNAs (miRs) fundamentally control pathological remodelling of the vasculature.
