This project organizes a community event in East London to promote research and public engagement through various activities, culminating in a Variety Show. It aims to strengthen connections between researchers and the local community.
EU Researcher Night 2012 gives a unique opportunity to host a prestige community event in post Olympics East London, to coincide with the reopening of the refurbished Great Hall in the People’s Palace, reinforcing our institution’s historical roots and to helping signal the enhanced institutional commitment to research dissemination through the creation of our new academic Centre for Public Engagement.
