This project investigates how phosphate levels influence vancomycin resistance in the actinomycete Streptomyces coelicolor. It aims to explore the regulatory mechanisms involving small non-coding RNA and identify new factors that contribute to antibiotic resistance, potentially leading to novel therapeutic strategies.
