The UTOPIA project aims to advance the field of ultrafast Floquet polaritonics by merging the study of phonon polaritons with Floquet theory. It focuses on demonstrating topological transitions and designing metasurfaces for enhanced light-matter interactions.
Electromagnetic waves interacting with materials give rise to polaritons, hybrid excitations of light and matter.
