The project aims to enhance the research and development capabilities of a key institute in North Macedonia, focusing on seismic risk reduction and structural protection. It seeks to improve infrastructure and attract young researchers to boost local and international collaboration.
There is no doubt that that the Institute is the largest and most important RTD centre of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in any S&T field.
In the 1980s the Institute invested about four million Euros in the development of its dynamic testing laboratories as well as for the education of young scientists in well known centers in Japan, USA and several European universities.
