This project aims to address the shortage of truck parking spaces in Germany by developing a reservation and payment system for truck drivers. The system integrates with existing apps to streamline the process of finding and reserving parking spots at rest stops.
The daily need for truck parking spaces on motor-ways in Germany gets worse.
Truck drivers search 1.5 hours to find a parking and drive to 8 parking spaces.
Results: exceeding of allowed driving time, parking in gateways, accidents.
In Germany 30,000 truck parking spaces are missing.
