The ULTRAWAVE project aims to enhance wireless backhaul capacity for high-density small cell networks by utilizing millimeter wave technology. It focuses on developing a system that can deliver over 100 Gbps per square kilometer, enabling efficient connectivity for numerous small cells in 5G networks.
