UHealth examines the impact of trade unions on workers' health across various countries. The project analyzes how union membership and collective bargaining influence health outcomes, job satisfaction, and workplace conditions through longitudinal studies and qualitative comparisons.
The core purpose of UHealth is to assess the relationship between trade unions and workers’ health taking a broad definition of what trade unions are and looking at several health indictors including physical and mental health and wellbeing.
