This project investigates the modification of macromolecular functions through terahertz strong coupling. By developing photonic devices, it aims to explore how altering vibrational modes can impact biochemical processes, potentially leading to new treatments for diseases caused by protein misfolding.
MacroMolecules (e.g Proteins, DNA) carry out most of the functions of the living and these functions come from their 3D-structure.
