This project focuses on developing Turbulence Cancelling technology to enhance flight stability by reducing the effects of in-flight turbulence. It aims to improve safety and efficiency in aviation, particularly for light and business aircraft.
Global studies show a rise in severe weather events, particularly storms and turbulence, increasingly impacting air traffic.
These adverse conditions lead to fuel-consuming detours, higher maintenance costs, in-flight injuries, and an increased workload for pilots and Air Traffic Management, raising accident risks.
Light and Business Aircraft are especially vulnerable due to their lower weight and typical operation in lower atmospheric layers where turbulence is more prevalent.
