This project investigates the gravitational S-matrix, focusing on its geometric properties and developing a twistor string description for supergravity. It aims to compute gravitational amplitudes and explore holographic theories of gravity at null infinity, enhancing our understanding of gravitational interactions.
Recent years have seen a revolution in our understanding of the S-matrix of Yang-Mills theory.
An even richer structure is expected to await us in gravity, but at present the gravitational S-matrix is much less well understood than its Yang-Mills counterpart.This project will investigate the beautiful and highly geometric properties of the gravitational S-matrix.
