The Truck-Safe project aims to enhance cargo securing on heavy goods vehicles to reduce accidents and economic losses. It focuses on developing an automated system that improves securing efficiency and minimizes human error.
The Truck-Safe project focuses on improving cargo securing on HGVs as there are potentially 147 deaths and economic loss of €6.8 billion occurred as a result of avoidable insecure cargo securing in EU alone.
