This project aims to enhance transparency in the food value chain by connecting various stakeholders, including industry and consumers. It focuses on analyzing and disseminating knowledge about transparency solutions and developing a framework to identify future research needs in this area.
The core relevance of transparency as a critical success factor and the need for the delivery of appropriate support by research has been emphasized in the Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) of the European Technology Platform 'Food for Life' from where this proposal evolved.
