This project supports the career development of researchers in Hungary through international mobility. It offers funding for outgoing and incoming researchers to enhance their expertise and establish long-term research units in Hungary.
In 2008 the two main funding bodies for applied and basic research in Hungary, the National Office for Research and Technology (NKTH) and the Hungarian Scientific Research Fund (OTKA) Office have developed a complex programme for supporting researchers’ career-development through their international mobility, which is proposed for the FP7 COFUND programme.
