The project focuses on improving logistics efficiency by using predictive analytics to forecast cargo demand and optimize the use of shipping containers. It aims to reduce empty container movements, lower costs, and decrease carbon emissions in the logistics sector.
Logistics assets like shipping containers are expensive to store and expensive to move, yet 1 in 3 of them is moved empty, costing €18B/yr.
