This project investigates how transcription factors, which regulate gene expression, function at the single-cell level in bacteria. By developing advanced microscopy techniques and computational models, it aims to enhance our understanding of gene regulation dynamics and improve systems biology approaches.
Progress in bioengineering and biomedicine is limited by our inadequate understanding of genetic control systems in living cells.
