TRANSACT aims to improve accountability processes for local policymakers in urban areas striving for climate neutrality. By re-conceptualizing these systems, the project seeks to enhance transparency and learning, enabling cities to effectively monitor and achieve their CO2 reduction targets.
Cities and urban agglomerations have set ambitious CO2 targets that necessitate a sustainable transition over the coming decade.
