This project addresses material degradation issues in the oil and sugar industries, focusing on corrosion, wear, and contamination risks. It aims to improve production technologies through research on advanced materials and surface modifications to enhance efficiency and safety in food processing.
The problems encountered in the industrial processing of oil and sugar are connected with corrosion, biochemical and/or biological reactions, friction, wear, and combined corrosion-wear of materials used in mechanical parts.
