This project focuses on understanding how the metabolic environment affects T cell function in diseases like cancer. By analyzing T cell metabolism, the research aims to identify pathways that can be targeted to restore immune function and improve disease outcomes.
A successful adaptive immune response requires T cells to be able to adopt a specific metabolic phenotype.
