The Torero project aims to produce bioethanol from wood waste in steel mills, enhancing sustainability. By converting wood waste to biocoal and fermenting carbon monoxide from blast furnace emissions, this project seeks to create a circular economy within the steel industry.
Torero will demonstrate a cost-, resource-, and energy-efficient technology concept for producing bioethanol from a wood waste feedstock, fully integrated in a large-scale, industrially functional steel mill:- Wood waste is converted to
