This project develops advanced optical imaging systems to improve the characterization of tumor tissues and spheroids for cancer treatment testing. By enabling non-destructive analysis, it aims to enhance personalized medicine approaches for drug-resistant cancers like glioblastoma.
Drug resistance, whether intrinsic or acquired during the course of treatment, is the primary cause of cancer treatment failure.
