The TMate project focuses on assessing mobile network performance to meet the growing connectivity demands in various sectors, including transportation and IoT. By utilizing intelligent measurement technology, it aims to improve data transfer reliability and support advanced planning for mobile network infrastructure.
Many European countries face difficulties meeting the increasing demand from private and commercial users and local authorities for a mobile connectivity available especially in rural areas and in constrained areas such as indoor locations, subways, tunnels and hot spots.
