This project investigates the historical claims regarding the textual integrity of the Qur'an, focusing on the concept of falsification. By examining the interactions between Sunni and Shi'i traditions from the 2nd to the 5th centuries AH, it aims to shed light on a neglected aspect of Islamic textual history.
The Qur’an is the central text in Islam and 1.9 million Muslims around the world strive to shape their lives according to the principles and rulings derived from it.
