This project examines how urban environments shape the experiences of time for marginalized groups, specifically Filipino domestic workers in Hong Kong. It aims to analyze their temporal realities and develop a framework for understanding time in urban sociology.
This project will advance knowledge on how cities contribute to the production of time of marginalized groups.
Cities are key nodes in the production of social inequalities of time, as places where national and global processes locate and where many precarious groups reside and their uncertainties are strongly reflected.
