Tiimo is a gamified assistive technology designed for children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It includes a smartwatch app and web platform to help manage daily tasks and incorporates a self-assessment tool to enhance therapy effectiveness.
Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a chronic, persistent condition of neurobiological disorder characterised by symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity.
Children with ADHD are at high risk of not completing primary school and the average cost for treating it in the EU ranges from €9,860 to €14,483 per year and child.
