This project seeks to refine the chronology of the European Neolithic period using Bayesian statistical methods. By analyzing archaeological sites, it aims to provide more accurate timelines for significant events and trends, enhancing our understanding of Neolithic life and societal changes.
This proposal offers ground-breaking progress towards the construction of much more precise chronologies for the Neolithic period in Europe, through the complementary expertise of the P-I and Co-I in Neolithic archaeology and Bayesian statistical analysis respectively.
