This project investigates how nutritional strategies can stimulate brown adipose tissue thermogenesis to combat obesity and type 2 diabetes. It examines the effects of essential amino acid supplements and dietary interventions, focusing on sex differences and their implications for metabolic health.
The stimulation of brown adipose tissue (BAT) thermogenesis and energy expenditure has gained prominence in the management of obesity and type 2 diabetes.
In this context, I propose innovative nutritional strategies as efficient tools to promote BAT thermogenic program, with therapeutic effects on obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome (MetS).
