The project develops Soft Core 2K, a new root canal filling system made entirely of gutta percha. This innovative solution addresses the common failures in root canal treatments by providing a more efficient and retrievable filling method, enhancing dental care.
With a market forecasted to reach ~$21 billion by 2023, the prevalence of root-canal treatments is expected to increase in the following years, due to the global rise in elderly population, incidence of dental caries, etc.
