The THALEA project aims to create a telemedicine platform for Intensive Care Units to identify patients at risk. By focusing on interoperability and collaboration among stakeholders, the project seeks to improve patient outcomes and address challenges in ICU care.
A growing body of evidence suggests outcome improvement in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients by means of telemedicine.
At present a highly interoperable, manufacturer-independent telemedicine-platform for detection of ICU-patients at increased risk is missing.
