This project studies the mechanisms behind allergic asthma by investigating CD4+ T helper type 2 cells in a mouse model. It aims to identify chemokine interactions that influence the migration and retention of these immune cells in the lungs during disease relapses.
Allergic asthma is a disease of airway inflammation caused by an allergic reaction to an antigen.
