The Teraboard project develops a photonic platform for high-density optical communications within data centers. It aims to enhance data exchange efficiency by minimizing energy costs and latency, addressing the growing demand for bandwidth in data processing environments.
Optical communications are becoming always more relevant because of the continuous growth of the requiested bandwidth.
