This project explores the use of specially designed nanomaterials to enhance medical imaging and disease tracking. By combining light and sound, it aims to develop advanced probes for deep-tissue imaging and temperature measurement, potentially transforming how we visualize and monitor health conditions.
This project addresses the quest of new materials and approaches that nanotechnology requires to solve the current limitations of medicine.
The potential to externally track and image organs and the potential presence and evolution of diseases by using light becomes a reality thanks to the use of especially tailored biocompatible nanoplatforms.
