This project explores how the human brain processes information over time, particularly in the context of schizophrenia. By analyzing brain activity during complex stimuli, the research aims to understand the neural mechanisms that underlie information integration and identify potential markers for early diagnosis.
Real-world events occur not only over extended regions of space but also over extended periods of time.
On the time scale of cognition, for example, it takes a few hundred milliseconds to utter a word, a few seconds to utter a sentence, and sometimes much longer to convey an idea.
