The project aims to improve our understanding of thermal conductivity in materials, particularly in the energy sector. By utilizing advanced computational methods and big data analytics, it seeks to generate data on thermal and electrical conductivity for a vast array of materials, enhancing material science knowledge.
Thermal conductivity (TC) is a key characteristic of many materials, particularly those used in the energy and environment sectors (thermoelectrics, thermal-barrier coatings, catalysis, etc.).
