This project develops a 3D interactive training platform for seafarers, enhancing safety training through realistic simulations. It aims to improve emergency preparedness and decision-making skills, ultimately reducing risks in maritime operations.
The aim of this project is to design a 3D virtual and interactive team-training software platform to serve the seafarers’ safety training needs and to meet EC’s recent safety requirements, set up for the various maritime industries.
The prototype to be delivered will be a distributed, scalable, collaborative interactive simulation environment that will enable training of seafarers.
