This project develops a novel method to target challenging proteins, often considered 'undruggable', using a combination of biological and chemical libraries. By creating millions of short cyclic peptides and integrating various chemical fragments, the approach aims to generate effective ligands for drug development.
Genome sequencing combined with powerful new research technologies has greatly expanded the number of potential drug targets, offering enormous opportunities to address unmet medical needs.
