This project investigates the role of regulatory T lymphocytes in immune responses, focusing on the activation of TGF-beta1 by the GARP protein. The goal is to develop tools for modulating immune responses, with potential applications in cancer treatment.
Regulatory T lymphocytes (Tregs) inhibit immune responses and are required to maintain immune tolerance.
